A
multiple stakes winner with blazing fast speed, Flying
with Eagles was represented by his first stakes winner
on September 26, 2004 when Deadly Talons broke his
maiden by 6 3/4 lengths with a dominating performance in
the Yellowstone Downs Futurity. Another son, Skyrider,
is already stakes placed in his first five starts.
Flying
With Eagles,
who set a 6 1/2 furlong track record (1:16 3/5), winning
by ten lengths in his first career start, is off to an
equally quick start at stud.
Flying
With Eagles won stakes at Santa Anita and Emerald
Downs and ran second in the Grade 2 Arlington-Washington
Futurity at Arlington Park and third in the Grade 3 William
P. Kyne Handicap at Bay Meadows. He won six races
at Santa Anita, Del Mar, Bay Meadows and Emerald Downs,
from 6 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/16 miles, dirt and turf.
With
both class and soundness, he started 33 times from two
to six, at eight different tracks. Eighteen of those
starts were in stakes races.
Offering
a rare combination of racing class, quality breeding, superior
conformation, and sire promise, Flying With Eagles has
pedigree, too. He's a son of Breeders' Cup Classic
winner Skywalker,
sire of Eclipse Award winner and successful sire Bertrando.
On the bottom side, he's a half-brother to two stakes
winners.
Flying
With Eagles is
the sire of stakes-placed winner Skyrider (winner
at two and three, 2004) and Dances With Eagles (winner
at two, 2004), in addition to his first stakes winner Deadly
Talons.
