Established
in 1984, we've grown from a single 100 acre farm with a few
horses to a group of seven farm locations on the Enumclaw Plateau,
south of Seattle, Washington. Surrounded by wonderful
views of the Cascades and Mount Rainier, we're in a little
bit of Heaven on earth.
Our
first stallion arrived in 1987, and we've been building increasing
quality into our operation ever since. Today we only
have stallions who meet our very strict criteria for pedigree,
conformation and race record.
Over
the years we've developed a practice of being the easiest breeding
shed in the region to get into; we bend over backward to make
it work for everyone. Our willingness to breed when you're
able to haul makes the entire process better.
Today
we average thirty mares living here year round, with as many
as 160 horses on our farms at peak periods. We upgrade
our own broodmare band with an addition or two from sales in
Kentucky, and send our open mares to the Bluegrass for breeding. We
also purchase a weanling or two from outside Washington every
year for pinhooking. |
