Raise the Bluff brings impressive credentials that make him well-suited to our region.  He possesses the combination of racing prowess, superior conformation and pedigree that all of us look for in young stallion prospects.

Raise the Bluff achieved the rare feat of competing In the major local races in his division as a two-year-old, three-year-old and four-year-old.  Never finishing worse than second place, he came within a length of sweeping the WTBA Lads, the Gottstein Futurity, the Emerald Downs Derby and the Longacres Mile (G3).  He was precocious, sound and consistent, finishing first or second in nine of his nineteen career starts on the way to earning $342, 706.

Raise the Bluff demonstrated that he was more than a "horse for a course," competing well against top handicap horses in California.  He won the Santana Mile Handicap in game fashion, earning a 102 Beyer.  The distance of that race is significant, because it is universally accepted that "milers" make the best stallion prospects.
